Work experience

  • Where: Legislative Assembly Building, 196 London Circuit, Canberra
  • Hours: Usually up to 30 hours across one week, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm
  • Eligibility: Students aged 14-18 (inclusive) enrolled at an in-area school

Requests for work experience must be sent at least 6 weeks before your earliest date range.

We cannot guarantee you'll be offered a placement, as work experience depends on whether MLAs are available and have the capacity to host students during their nominated dates.
