The Assembly Building is open to the public during business hours, between 8.30am-5.00pm.
Our physical address is 196 London Circuit in Civic, with the public entrance behind the Ethos statue on Civic Square.
All visitors undergo security screening, like at an airport, to enter the building.

Make a complaint
We support the right of anyone to make a complaint about the professional conduct or actions of Members, their staff, ACT Government officials working in ministers’ offices, or parliamentary officers.
Some complaints we don't handle include:
- Complaints about public sector corruption should be made to the ACT Integrity Commission
- Complaints about government policies should be made to the relevant minister
or directorate
- Complaints about political parties' policies should be made to the relevant party
- Complaints about potential criminal offences should be made to ACT Policing
Complaints can be made about the conduct of a Member of the Legislative Assembly if you believe the relevant code of conduct has been breached:
Members' Code of Conduct
If you believe an MLA (including ministers) has breached the Members' Code of Conduct (see Continuing Resolution 5 of Standing Orders), write to the Clerk at either clerk@parliament.act.gov.au or GPO Box 1020, Canberra ACT 2601.
They will forward this to the Assembly's Commissioner for Standards for consideration. If the Commissioner decides to conduct an investigation, their report will be provided to the Administration and Procedure Committee. The committee will inquire into the matter, determine what action if any might be taken against the MLA, and include this as a recommendation in their report to the Legislative Assembly.

Child Safety Code of Conduct and Policy
If you believe an MLA (including ministers) has breached the Child Safety Code of Conduct and Policy, write to the Speaker at speaker@parliament.act.gov.au or GPO Box 1020, Canberra ACT 2601.
Ministerial Code of Conduct
If you believe an minister has breached the Ministerial Code of Conduct , write to the Chief Minister at barr@act.gov.au or GPO Box 1020, Camberra ACT 2601.
Complaints can be made about the conduct of members' staff, ACT Government officials working in ministers' offices, or staff of the Office of the Legislative Assembly if you believe the relevant code of conduct has been breached:
Code of Conduct for Staff of Non-Executive Members
If you believe someone who works for a non-executive MLA (any member that is not also minister) has breached the Legislative Assembly (Members' Staff) Code of Conduct for Staff of Non-Executive Members Determination , write directly to the MLA who employs them.

If you believe someone who works for a minister has breached the Legislative Assembly (Members' Staff) Code of Conduct for Ministerial Staff and Staff of Other Office-holders Determination , write directly to the minister who employs them

ACT Public Sector Code of Conduct
If you believe an ACT public servant working in a minister's office has breached the Public Sector Management (ACT Public Sector) Code of Conduct , write to the Public Sector Standards Commissioner at actpublicsectorstandardscommissioner@act.gov.au or GPO Box 158, Canberra ACT 2601.
Child Safety Code of Conduct and Policy
If you believe someone who works for an MLA (including ministers) or the Office of the Legislative Assembly has breached the Child Safety Code of Conduct and Policy, write to the Speaker at speaker@parliament.act.gov.au or GPO Box 1020, Canberra ACT 2601.
