Terms of reference
The Assembly’s Resolution of Appointment for the Committee of 2 December 2020, provides that:
(6) all reports of the ACT Auditor-General tabled in the Assembly stand referred to the Standing Committee on Public Accounts for inquiry and report; It follows that Terms of Reference for each of the Standing Committee’s inquiries into Auditor-General’s performance audit reports are, in effect, the Auditor-General’s report itself.
At its meeting on 16 August 2023 the Committee resolved to undertake further inquire into Auditor-General Performance Audit Reports January - June 2023.
The Standing Committee on Public Accounts will inquire into and report on matters relating to the Government response to performance audit recommendations made in Auditor-General report:
- No 1/2023 – Construction Occupations Licensing;
- No 2/2023 – Management of Operation Reboot (Outpatients);
- No 3/2023 – Financial Management Services for Protected Persons;
- No 4/2023 – Procurement of a Hybrid Electric Fire Truck; and
- any other related matter.
