REPORT OF THE INQUIRY INTO ANNUAL AND FINANCIAL REPORTS 2022–23

Today the Standing Committee on Health and Community Wellbeing has tabled its report of the Inquiry into the Annual and Financial Reports 2022–23.

The Committee makes five recommendations.

These relate to enabling midwives to prescribe homebirth medication, dental issues resulting in emergency room presentations, funding for safe havens and peer workers, the circular economy and public housing availability in East Lake.

The Chair of the Committee, Ms Jo Clay MLA thanked those who participated in the inquiry:

‘On behalf of the Committee, I would like to thank all ACT Government Ministers and directorate and agency officials who appeared at the public hearings and responded to questions.’

‘I would also like to thank my fellow Committee members—Mr Milligan and Mr Pettersson—for the contribution to the inquiry process and report.’
