Report tabled for the inquiry into Annual and Financial Reports 2022-2023

Today the Chair of the Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety, Mr Peter Cain MLA, tabled the Committee’s report for the Inquiry into Annual and Financial Reports 2021–2022. The report made 23 recommendations under its area of responsibility.

A dissenting report on recommendation 15 and additional comments on recommendation 19 was made by Mr Andrew Braddock MLA.

The Committee thanks all Ministers, statutory officials, and directorate staff for their engagement in the inquiry process.

Under the Assembly’s standing orders, the Government is required to respond to committee reports within four months of tabling.
