Inquiry into the Property Developers Bill 2023

The Standing Committee on Planning, Transport and City Services has extended the due date for submissions for its inquiry into the Property Developers Bill 2023. The Committee will now be accepting submissions until 1 March 2024.

The Bill itself functions as the terms of reference for the inquiry and is available on the Committee website.

‘It is important that the Committee hear from as many voices as possible in relation to this Bill,’ said Jo Clay MLA, Committee Chair. ‘This includes from industry representatives, experts, community organisations, and of course individuals who have been affected by the practices this Bill seeks to regulate.’

Information about how to make a submission is available on the Assembly website.

Submissions close 1 March 2024.

Public hearings will be conducted on Thursday 7 March 2024.
