Second Public Hearing for EV inquiry

The Standing Committee on Planning, Transport and City Services will hold a second public hearing for its Inquiry into electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the ACT on Thursday, 18 May 2023.

The Committee will hear from Evoenergy, who is the owner and operator of the electricity network in the ACT.

The Committee Chair, Ms Jo Clay MLA, said: “Today’s public hearing will be an opportunity to find out from Evoenergy how the Territory’s electricity network and infrastructure will need to adapt to accommodate an uptake in EVs.”

Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing in the Prince Edward Island Room of the Legislative Assembly between 9.30 am – 10.15 am on Thursday, 18 May 2023. Proceedings will also be live-streamed on the Assembly website.
