Inquiry into Abortion and Reproductive Choice in the ACT Report
Mr Johnathan Davis MLA, Chair of the Assembly’s Standing Committee on Health and Community Wellbeing, today tabled a report in the Inquiry into Abortion and Reproductive Choice in the ACT.
The Committee received 52 submissions to the Inquiry and also heard evidence from 21 witnesses during its public hearing. The Committee has made 18 recommendations that address barriers to abortion and reproductive choice in the ACT.
Mr Davis, Chair of the Committee said, ‘I wish to thank all who contributed to this significant inquiry and also my fellow Committee members, Mr Milligan and Mr Pettersson. I also wish to thank Dr Paterson who so generously served as a member of the Committee during the course of the inquiry’.
