Inquiry into Cost of Living Pressures in the ACT report

The Chair of the Select Committee on Cost of Living Pressures in the ACT, Mr Johnathan Davis MLA, today tabled the Committee’s report on its Inquiry into Cost of Living Pressures in the ACT.

The Committee’s report made 52 recommendations covering a broad range of issues including housing, health, education, food and transport.

The Committee consulted widely across social and charitable organisations, community groups and individual citizens, receiving 35 submissions and hearing from 24 individuals and organisations across two days of hearings.

The Committee wishes to extend its appreciation to all inquiry participants for their engagement and for the valuable contributions they made in assisting and informing the Committee's deliberations.

Under the Assembly’s standing orders, the ACT Government is required to respond to committee reports within four months of tabling.
