Gaming Machine Amendment Bill 2023
The Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety has announced it will be undertaking an inquiry into the Gaming Machine Amendment Bill 2023.
The terms of reference are available on the Committee website here.
The Bill proposes to amend the Gaming Machine Act 2004 to ensure that the Gambling and Racing Commission will not be able to issue authorisation certificates for Class C gaming machines in Molonglo Valley and other undeveloped areas of the ACT.

Submissions close 29 September 2023.
