Call for public suggestions for future inquiry topics

The Standing Committee on Environment, Climate Change and Biodiversity (the Committee) examines matters relating to:

  • Climate change
  • Climate action
  • Environment
  • Heritage
  • Water and energy policy and programs
  • Emissions reductions
  • Environment and ecological sustainability
  • Commissioner for the Environment
  • Environment Protection Agency
  • parks and conservation

The Committee is interested in hearing from the public as well as key stakeholder groups and organisations on potential inquiry topics of concern to the Canberra community.

The Committee asks that suggestions for inquiries be relevant to the Committee’s resolution of establishment and outline the reasons why the issue or issues raised are important for the Committee to inquire into.

Suggestions can be emailed through to LACommitteeECCB@parliament.act.gov.au.
