Report tabled for the inquiry into
The Sexual Assault Reform Legislation Amendment Bill 2022
The Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety published a report today on the Sexual Assault Reform Legislation Amendment Bill 2022, making 5 recommendations.
The Bill is a significant bill that makes significant changes to the ACT justice system with the aim of improving victim-survivors’ access to justice and enhancing their safety.
Under the Assembly’s standing orders, the Government is required to respond to committee reports within four months of tabling.
