Report tabled for the inquiry into Annual and Financial Reports 2020-21

The Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, Mrs Elizabeth Kikkert, today tabled the Committee’s report into its Inquiry into Annual and Financial Reports 2020-21.

The Committee held three public hearings via videoconference and a total of 52 questions were taken and placed on notice during the inquiry.

The Committee’s report made nine recommendations relating to the ACT Government, Icon Water, the Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission, Major Projects Canberra and the Office of the Legislative Assembly.

Mrs Kikkert said, ‘we thank all those who contributed to the Committee’s inquiry.’

Under the Assembly’s standing orders, the Government is required to respond to committee reports within four months of tabling.
