Public hearing on the Voting Age
Tomorrow the Justice and Community Safety Committee will hold a public hearing on the voting age for Territory elections.
The committee has been asked to conduct an inquiry on the Electoral Amendment Bill 2021, and present recommendations to the Assembly, before the Bill is debated.
The hearing will be held virtually and live streamed to the public. The hearings can be viewed at the Video on Demand website.
