Public hearing into abortion and reproductive choice in the ACT
The ACT Legislative Assembly Standing Committee on Health & Community Wellbeing has resolved to conduct a public hearing into its Inquiry into Abortion and Reproductive Choice in the ACT, on 28 October 2022.
“The Committee welcomes Dr Marisa Paterson as a new member. For this reason, the Committee has deferred the reporting date for the Inquiry to 22 November 2022.” - Johnathan Davis MLA, Chair of the Standing Committee on Health & Community Wellbeing.
The terms of reference of the Inquiry include the accessibility and affordability of abortion services, and the protection of abortion rights in the ACT. The full terms of reference are available on the Committee’s webpage.
