Public Hearing for Inquiry into the Waste Management of Absorbent Hygiene Products

This morning the ACT Legislative Assembly’s Standing Committee on Environment, Climate Change and Biodiversity will be holding a public hearing as part of its inquiry into the waste management of absorbent hygiene products.

The Committee will hear from a range of witnesses, including community and environmental groups, the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment, and the Minister for Transport and City Services. Visitors are welcome to observe the proceedings, between 9:00am – 12:30pm, in the Prince Edward Island Room at the Legislative Assembly building on London Circuit (COVID-safe restrictions apply).
