New inquiry into Housing and Rental Affordability

A new Committee inquiry into Housing and Rental Affordability was announced in the Legislative Assembly today.

The Chair of the Economy and Gender and Economic Equality Committee, Ms Leanne Castley MLA, said ‘We look forward to hearing from as many people as possible about the rapidly increasing cost of renting or buying a home in Canberra’.

The Committee invites submissions from industry groups, peak bodies, think tanks, academics, economists, unions and the public.
