Inquiry into Work Health and Safety Amendment Bill 2022
The Standing Committee on Public Accounts has announced it will be undertaking an inquiry into the new Work Health and Safety Amendment Bill 2022 (the Bill).
The Bill was presented by the Chief Minister on 20 October 2022. The Bill amends the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 to confirm the Legislative Assembly as a workplace where work is carried out as an undertaking of the Territory.

Submissions close on 20 January 2023. The public hearing will be held on 2 February 2023. The Committee must report back to the Assembly by 1 March 2023.
