Justice and Community Safety Legislation Amendment Bill 2022 (No 2)
The Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety has announced it will be undertaking an inquiry into the Justice and Community Safety Legislation Amendment Bill 2022 (No 2).
The terms of reference are available on the Committee website here.
The Committee will only be inquiring into the Evidence (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1991 amendments in the Bill.
The Committee will be seeking submissions from the Women’s Legal Centre, the ACT Law Society, the ACT Bar Association, the Victims of Crime Commissioner, Legal Aid ACT and the Director of Public Prosecutions by 9.00am 12 December 2022.

Submissions close 9.00am Monday 12 December 2022.
