Estimates hearings to start into ACT Budget

Today the Select Committee on Estimates 2022-23 will hold the first of 11 days of hearings.

The Committee will talk to community and industry groups about how the Budget affects them and what recommendations the Committee can make about the Budget.

The organisations are the ACT Council of Social Service, Canberra Business Chamber, the Multicultural Association of Canberra and Advocacy for inclusion.

Visitors are welcome to observe the proceedings in the Prince Edward Island Room at the Legislative Assembly building on London Circuit.

Proceedings will be live streamed, and a video recording will be available afterwards. Both will be available at https://broadcast.parliament.act.gov.au/.

Hearings with Ministers and officials will commence on Monday, 15 August 2022.
