Free public course on the basics of your local parliament

Are you interested in learning more about your local parliament? Our Assembly 101 community seminar explores how the Legislative Assembly operates and the roles of its elected members. It is free, open to all members of the public, and includes a catered morning tea.

About the course

Registrations begins at 9am in the reception room, on the left after clearing security at the Civic Square public entrance. The program begins at 9.30am. Highlights of the seminar include

Participants are also invited to come back to the Assembly just before 2pm to watch question time from the public gallery in the chamber (not available on Friday 8 May).

This event includes complimentary tea, coffee, and water plus a free catered morning tea. We're happy to cater to your dietary requirements - just let us know on the booking e-form.
