About the Work
This five-panel collaborative quilt is based on Charles Coulter’s 1911 panorama that was sent to all entrants in the Federal Capital Design Competition. The work, by the collaborative group tACTile, speaks of community, history and contemporary experience and highlights how contemporary artists contributed to the centenary year of Canberra, 2013.
