About the Work
Annika Romeyn draws her inspiration from the landscape, frequently from areas around Canberra and the region. Sites such as Guerilla Bay have strong family personal connections, and Stockyard Spur became familiar through a residency in Namadgi National Park. The Stockyard Spur track climbs steeply through tall eucalypt forests surrounding Corin Dam up to snow gum woodlands on the top of the Brindabella range
