About the Work
Brigitte Enders’ early training in Bauhaus-influenced German industrial design, before she devoted herself to ceramics, had an abiding influence on her work, and can be detected in the strong purity of line, and the poised balance of her work. Enders has described her craft as ‘a composition in mood’. Guardian exhibits an expansive, encompassing volume that speaks of aspiration and optimism in an abstract language.
