Report tabled – Inquiry into Immediate Trauma Support Services in the ACT

Today the Chair of Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety, Mr Peter Cain MLA, tabled the Committee’s report for its Inquiry into Immediate Trauma Support Services in the ACT.

The Committee has made two recommendations including that the ACT Government urgently implement a Trauma Support Service in the ACT.

The Committee would like to thank those who made submissions and participated in the public hearings.

Under the Assembly’s standing orders, the ACT Government is required to respond to Committee reports within four months of tabling.
