Inquiry into the Administration of Bail
The Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety has announced it will be undertaking an inquiry into the administration of bail.
The terms of reference are available on the Committee website here.
As part of the Administration of Bail Inquiry, the committee is interested in looking issues with the administration of bail in the ACT, including potential changes that could be made to better support people who are on bail that might be at risk of re-offending.
The Committee would like to hear from a range of stakeholders and welcomes submissions to this inquiry by Friday 17 May 2024.
