Inquiry into the Gaming Machine Amendment Bill 2011
At its meeting on Thursday 17 November 2011, the Legislative Assembly referred the Gaming Machine Amendment Bill 2011 to the Committee for inquiry and report.

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts invites submissions, from interested organisations and individuals, to its inquiry into the Gaming Machine Amendment Bill 2011. Submissions should address some or all of the terms of reference. The closing date for lodgement of submissions is Tuesday 31 January 2012. The Committee is intending to hold public hearings in February/March 2012. The Committee is expecting to report to the ACT Legislative Assembly as soon as practicable.
The Inquiry’s terms of reference (T of R) are the exposure draft of the Bill along with the explanatory statement. Submissions should address some or all of the T of R.
Written submissions should be lodged by Tuesday 31 January 2012.
The Committee prefers to receive typed submissions electronically, although handwritten submissions are acceptable. All submissions, including those sent electronically, must include a postal address and telephone contact number. Submissions should be forwarded to:
