Inquiry into barriers and opportunities for participation in community sports in the ACT—Report published

The Standing Committee on Economics, Industry and Recreation has released its report on the inquiry into barriers and opportunities for participation in community sports in the ACT.

“The Committee received many submissions to this inquiry, demonstrating how the ACT values community sport,” said the Committee Chair, Mr Werner-Gibbings MLA. “Our report has used that extensive evidence to make a range of recommendations to the Government around reforming and clarifying its strategic approach to sports and recreation policies, especially the provision of facilities.”

The report contains 33 recommendations.
