New inquiry into Property Developers Legislation Amendment Bill 2026

The Standing Committee on Economics, Recreation and Industry has announced it will be undertaking an inquiry into the Property Developers Legislation Amendment Bill 2026.

The Committee Chair, Mr Taimus Werner-Gibbings MLA, said ‘The Committee is focused on scrutinising the proposals in the Bill, such as the introduction of a new insurance scheme, rather than on the property developers licensing scheme as a whole.’
