Report tabled – Inquiry into Cashless gaming in the ACT
Today the Chair of Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety, Mr Peter Cain MLA, tabled the Committee’s report for its Inquiry into Cashless gaming in the ACT.
The Committee has made five recommendations, including that the ACT Government articulate a long-term vision for gambling harm reduction in the ACT. A dissenting report was made by Mr Peter Cain MLA, while additional comments were made by Mr Andrew Braddock MLA.

The Committee would like to thank those who made submissions and participated in the public hearings.
Under the Assembly’s standing orders, the ACT Government is required to respond to Committee reports within four months of tabling.
