Today in the Legislative Assembly for the ACT the Chair of the Select Committee on Estimates 2019-2020 Miss Candice Burch MLA tabled the Committee’s report on the Appropriation Bill 2019-2020 and Appropriation (Office of the Legislative Assembly) Bill 2019-2020.

In total the Committee made 207 recommendations across a number of portfolios.

Public hearings commenced on 14 June 2019.  The hearings were held over 11 days, ending on 28 June 2019.

During the course of the inquiry the Committee heard from over 200 witnesses, including:

• Ministers of the ACT Government;
• officers from government agencies;
• statutory officers and officers from statutory bodies; and
• community and industry representative groups.
