Invitation for public submissions on the COVID-19 2021 pandemic response

The Committee welcomes submissions from the public on the ACT government’s response to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Committee Chair, Ms Elizabeth Lee MLA, said “The Assembly unanimously supported the establishment of a Select Committee to consider and report on the ACT government’s response to the current COVID-19 outbreak in the ACT. The Committee’s purpose is to ensure that ACT government decisions made in response to the pandemic are transparent and open to appropriate public scrutiny. The Committee welcomes submissions from the public on the impact of COVID-19 and the ACT government’s response.”

Due to the evolving situation the Committee is accepting submissions on a rolling basis until Friday, 19 November 2021.

The Committee prefers all submissions to be lodged in electronic form (Word format), although handwritten submissions are acceptable. All submissions, including those sent electronically, must include a name, an email address, a postal address and a telephone contact number. Personal contact details will not be published.

Submissions should be forwarded to the Committee Secretary, Select Committee on the COVID-19 2021 Pandemic Response, by email to LACommitteeCOVID19@parliament.act.gov.au or by post to GPO Box 1020, CANBERRA ACT 2601.
