Pursuant to Standing Order 216, the Committee resolved on 4 May 2021 to inquire into the future of the working week—in particular, what a four-day work week would look like and whether it is the future of work?

Release of discussion paper

To assist submitters, the Committee released a discussion paper on 16 June 2021 to coincide with its call for public submissions.  The Committee is intending to commence holding public hearings in the second quarter of the 2021–22 financial year.

Submissions for this inquiry have closed

There are few rules for submissions, only that they must be relevant, written and received before the closing date. Include your name, phone number, and postal and email addresses, before sending your submission in either digital or physical form to one of these addresses:
