ACT Legislative Assembly

New inquiry into Territory Coat of Arms

Following the adoption of the Southern Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby as the mammal emblem for the ACT, the Legislative Assembly will now turn its attention to a possible ACT Coat of Arms.

On 29 November 2018 the Assembly asked the Standing Committee on Environment and Transport and City Services to hold an inquiry into a Territory Coat of Arms.

The Committee will consult with the community during the inquiry, and provide guidance early in 2019 on how people can participate in the discussion.
