The Standing Committee on Health, Ageing and Community Services (the Committee) has published the public hearing schedule for their inquiry into the implementation, performance and governance of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the ACT.
The Committee will hear from people who have used accessed the NDIS for themselves, or as a carer, to understand their lived experience. The Committee will also hear from a wide range of service providers and peak body organisations.
The Committee will specifically consider the relationship between the ACT Government and the National Disability Insurance Agency, including the local area coordination role.
Hearings will run over five days in May.
