The Legislative Assembly’s Standing Committee on Environment and Transport and City Services has been conducting an online poll to find out which of the shortlisted animals the community wants as the ACT Mammal Emblem.
Canberrans have four days left to participate in the poll.
Committee Chair, Suzanne Orr MLA said “the Committee wants to hear from as many Canberrans as possible on which mammal they believe should be the Territory emblem”
“So far there has been a great response to the online poll and we don’t want people to miss out on their chance to vote for either the Eastern Bettong or the Southern Brush-Tailed Rock Wallaby,” Ms Orr said.
Canberrans can vote in the poll at www.surveymonkey.com/r/ACTMammalEmblem
The poll closes at 5pm on Tuesday 26 June 2018.
