OCCUPATIONS BEFORE ENTERING THE ACT LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY
Elizabeth has been a passionate small businesswoman, helping to establish and work in a family-based law practice that dealt primarily in family law. She has also worked in fields as diverse as women’s advocacy, public affairs and social justice.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Elizabeth has always sought out opportunities to volunteer and be involved in the grassroots of her community. She has been involved in efforts to redress domestic violence, poverty and homelessness, and she has also provided practical support for youth, women and their aspirations.
PERSONAL
Elizabeth was born in Tonga in 1980 and came to Australia in 1989. She moved to Canberra in 2005. She is married with five children and has served her community through extensive charity and community work.
INTERESTS
Hiking, swimming, volunteering, reading, spending time with family.
