The live broadcast is available to the public in two different sizes. Larger sizes need a faster broadband connection. Choose the one that suits your situation.

The broadcast uses open technologies to ensure the widest possible participation. The video streams are in the H.264 format and are delivered internally using multicast transmission and externally using RTSP.

Play in a Different Player You can also play the live broadcast on computers that do not have QuickTime. Download and install the free VideoLAN Client (VLC) from www.videolan.org. Then from inside VLC choose Open Network and copy and paste in one of the following links: For linux and mac users: Low Speed rtsp://dmzosx001.dpa.act.gov.au/tiny 160x240 at 40 Kbit/sec Medium Speed rtsp://dmzosx001.dpa.act.gov.au/medium 320x240 at 250 Kbit/sec Be aware: Some browsers do not support a rtsp:// link. Results may vary depending on your computer, browser and operating system.
